Come join us for a great 3 week series in late fall. We had record numbers last year as this series continues to grow in popularity. Spread the word if you enjoy this series. 100% of proceeds benefit the trails.

Week 1 Race Start in 2019

Dates:

  • Sunday, November 10th
  • Sunday, November 17th
  • Sunday, November 24th

Time: All Races start at 10:30 A.M.

Location: Hard’ack Recreation Area, St. Albans, VT

Distance: All races will be 5k. There will be a shorter option available as well, which will be no more than 3k.

Course: Each week will be a different course. All courses will take place on the wide cross country trails. We will not use any single track.

Trail Description: The trails are mostly in the woods. The surface is mostly smooth well mowed grass. Everything can be run at full pace, there are no technical sections to navigate. While not mountainous terrain, you should come prepared to climb some hills.

Prizes: There will be a random prize raffle after each race, as well as free refreshments for all participants and volunteers.

Proceeds: This event is being run through the St. Albans Recreation department. St. Albans Nordic is a sponsor of this event and all proceeds go directly to development and maintenance of the cross-country trails at Hard’ack.

Registration Fees: Note that local residents pay a lower price because this is a St. Albans Rec Department event and local residents already support the department with local tax revenue. A local resident is any person that lives in St. Albans Town or St. Albans City

  • Local Resident Single Race: $10
  • Non Local Resident Single Race: $13
  • Local Resident 3 race package deal: $25
  • Non Local Resident 3 race package deal: $33

Please note that the 3 race package deal must be purchased online prior to the first race, or purchased on site the day of the first race.
