Location: Hard’ack Recreation Area, St. Albans, VT (see map below)
Technique: Freestyle. You can skate or classic, but there won’t be any classic tracks set for the race.
Distance: 5k or 10k (Distances may vary and be slightly more or less)
Format: Mass start
Start Times: 10 AM for the 10k, 10:45 AM for the 5k (or as soon as 10k finishes, but no earlier than 10:45)
Cost:
Non-Locals: $25 for all ages and distances.
Locals (resident of St. Albans City, St. Albans Town): $20 for all ages and distances.

Trail Description: A mix of winding trails through the woods and some wide open meadows. The meadows will be groomed with a snow cat if snow depth allows. The woods are groomed with a Tidd Tech and a tracked 4 wheeler, but they are as smooth as if they’ve been groomed with a cat. Wooded trails are plenty wide for great skating. You can pass comfortably, but they are not wide enough for two skate lanes. Meadows are super highways.
About the Venue: There is also a small downhill slope with a rope tow and a sledding hill. There is also an indoor pool, but pool availability is unkown at this time.
